Suitability of Environment

The minimum standards an environment must meet to qualify for our services.

Last Updated: September 24, 2026

This page is referenced by Triada Networks Statements of Work (“SOW”). The version published on the Effective Date of your SOW applies to that SOW. It should be read together with the Master Services Agreement and the Services Guide.

For Customer’s IT environment to qualify for Triada’s Services, the requirements below must be met before the Go-Live Date and maintained throughout the Term. Any cost to bring the environment up to these standards is not included in the SOW and will be quoted separately.

Minimum requirements

  1. Supported operating systems. All servers, desktops, and laptops must run an operating system version that is currently supported by its vendor (Microsoft, Apple, or otherwise), with all current vendor security updates installed.
  2. Full-disk encryption. All drives on servers, desktops, and laptops must be encrypted with industry-standard, enterprise-level encryption.
  3. Supported hardware and software. Hardware and software must not be end-of-sale or end-of-life. Replaceable parts must be reasonably available. Server hardware must be under current warranty coverage.
  4. Genuine and licensed. All software must be genuine, properly licensed, and vendor-supported. Triada may request proof of authenticity or licensing at any time.
  5. Endpoint protection. The entire IT environment must have a currently licensed, up-to-date, vendor-supported endpoint protection solution covering all servers, desktops, laptops, and email.
  6. Backup. The environment must have a currently licensed, vendor-supported backup solution that Triada can monitor. Recovery coverage assumes the integrity of the backups; restoration is to the point of the last successful backup.
  7. Firewall. The environment must have a currently licensed, vendor-supported firewall between the internal network and the Internet.
  8. Wireless encryption. All wireless data traffic on the local network must be encrypted with industry-standard, enterprise-level encryption.
  9. Power protection. All servers and network equipment must be connected to working uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Customer is responsible for providing power protection and sufficient outlets at each location.
  10. Multi-factor authentication. Multi-factor authentication must be enabled on Customer’s productivity suite (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and on all externally available applications, using the software Triada provides.
  11. Installation media and keys. Customer must be able to provide software installation media and license keys in the event of a failure.
  12. Internet connectivity. Backup, monitoring, and security services require a reliable, always-on business-class Internet connection at each covered location.

Ongoing conditions

  • The requirements above are continuing obligations. If the environment falls out of compliance during the Term, the affected devices or services may be treated as out of scope until remediated.
  • Triada will advise Customer of gaps found during onboarding or during the Term. Remediation is quoted separately unless the SOW states otherwise.
  • Devices that cannot meet these requirements may remain in the environment only with Triada’s written agreement, and are subject to the Legacy Device provisions of the Master Services Agreement.
