Triada Team

Raffi Jamgotchian, President and CTO

Raffi Jamgotchian arrived in the US from England at the age of 3 (sorry he can’t run for President!). Growing up in New Jersey he promptly lost his British accent, which irritates his boys to this day.  He became interested in computers at a young age since his Dad was a computer programmer and enjoyed tinkering with electronics.  Due to this, Raffi was exposed to more than your typical kid growing up in the late 70s and 80s. Raffi and some of his friends from high school ran a Bulletin Board Service for a while (yes he’s that nerdy) out of his bedroom.

He studied Computer and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and went to work for Crestron Electronics before making the shift to IT in 1995. During the early days of the world wide web, Raffi helped build the first firewalls at a firm and connected it up to the Internet. As he worked at an investment firm they quickly pushed him into information security (before it was called cybersecurity). He then went back to graduate school and earned an MBA.  In 2006, he left that firm and worked on a startup investment fund for a couple of years. In 2008, Raffi and his wife, Aline started Triada Networks to service other small funds during the financial crisis. They assisted the funds by getting their security and compliance in order.

Triada Networks works with industry-leading companies such as Fortinet, Datto, Microsoft, and others to help smaller independent investment firms with their cybersecurity and IT needs.

Raffi is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of both InfraGard and the US Secret Service’s Joint Electronic Crimes Task Force.

Raffi is a member of the NV Rotary Club because he believes in the 4-way test: is it the truth, is it fair to all concerned, will it build goodwill, and is it beneficial to all concerned. The 4-way test is the core value of Triada. Raffi is also a member of the Northern Valley Regional HS Board of Education.

Raffi lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and four boys.
